Worst prof I ever had. Should't be teaching, fails most of his class. Lectures are hard to follow and not really representative of tests. AVOID.

The amount of stats that he knows is proportional to his expectations, and inversely proportional to his teaching skills.

Keselman is a brillant man, however it is not very good at communicating the important info. Be prepared for his long answer question, they are tough and usually the downfall of most students. He is hard to get a hold of sometimes, but he is very happy to help students if you ask. Basically it comes down to how much you study.

Nice enough person I'm sure but a terrible professor. Makes everything way more complicated then its needs to be. Ive taken several stats courses and never have experienced anything like that. Read the text thats all you can really do....

One of the best Stats teacher I ever had!! he was always friendly and open ti inquiries. You need to have some background to understand his explanation of concepts and procedures, but nothing out or this world. I am grateful I took his course 8 years ago, I still keep his notes!!

I have been in university for 4 yrs now & had many diff't profs..by far he is the worst 1 I've had.He complicates the material by going on rants about concepts, & expects that you understand everything he says.He tells you that he welcomes questions, but then when you ask 1 he lacks the patience to answer it.Would not reccommend him at all!

Most amazing stats professor I've had to date. Very animated and involved with the class. This made it almost impossible NOT to pay attention and learn what he was talking about. Learned everyone's name in the class and very available if you need extra help. Definitely take him for a prof if you are interested in working in experimental psych!

His teaching style may be difficult for some to adjust to, but i found him quite good. For those not math minded, ignore his proofs... tests are fair and workload is very manageable. He is excited about the work and does what he can to get the class involved (though I supsect it comes across as a bit intimidating at times)

He tends to needlessly complicate this course. With that said, the exams are not as bad as you think they'll be...so hang in there!

Yes, there is a great deal of work. But if you can't stand work, then you don't belong in university. If you think about what you are learning, and work at it, imagine what you can do with that knowledge and expertise.

Standing on your own two feet is irrelevant. his notes are not easy to understand, and there IS such a thing as too much work. it's psychology, not rocket science. he thinks he is god of is all important subject. his class requires too much time.
