His lectures were very boring and repetitive. His opinions and views were the only ones acceptable for papers. Very good at emphasizing what's important to him in papers, approachable and understanding if assignments are late. Required reading is dull at best.

Yawn. Boring lectures. Probably cause I'd heard all the stuff he said before. If you share his interests, hockey & Irish Catholicism, enjoy. If you would like a wider scope, avoid. He does know a lot of interesting stuff about Yeats, but if you think you are taking a course with contemporary material (any post-1900 lit course), think again.
