He was excellent at explaining the difficult subjects covered in Calc 2. The class was graded mostly by 3 exams and final. The exams are tough, but not impossible. He only lectures using the chalkboard and doesn't post anything online. The only issue I had was that he talked extremely quietly, so sit close to the front if you want to hear him.

He is very quiet and sitting up front is a MUST. Other than that I thought he was very clear with his lecture. Make a study group and you will be fine. HE assigns practice tests and they are like the real test. You wont regret taking him!

His tests are easy if you do the practice test. Homework is optional, but helps on tests. Daily exit "quiz" that are from the textbook and easy. If you don't understand anything, just go up to his desk and he is very helpful. His lectures are understandable, but English isn't his first language. Chill guy that let us put notes on the board for test

A Teacher Quality : makes an effort to you in class and outside. Will take any excuse if you need to pass. C for Clarity: This man speaks English well but, will go slow and boring and put you to sleep. English is not his first language give the man a Break. :) Overall B+ : He is a good man and caring one-one is great with explainin things

Boring, monotone lectures, sit up front. MUST go to class. Only graded assignments are tests. Gives practice tests almost identical to real test. Tests are straight from homework. I didn't do homework and just did practice tests and did fine. If you pay attention in class and do practice test you will be fine.

So thankful I took this class with him! Calc 2 was very challenging, but I managed to survive. His tests are exactly like his practice tests. His homeworks on MyMathlab were a little tedious, but otherwise I definitely recommend! Sometimes he has in class work that is due and counts as the attendance.

Very helpful. Class is manageable if you STUDY! Multivariate is hard anyway so expect to apply a significant amount of time to this class. Professor Sedaghat's exams are similar to HW and lecture so no prob there. Just study.

Very detailed-oriented professor here. Material can be very difficult to understand, but if you come to class, pay attention, take good notes, etc., you should have no problem with his class. His only downside is that he has a low monotone voice that can put you to sleep. I suggest you sit as close to the front as possible.

GREAT and BORING! Haha but seriously, a very impressive math teacher who doesn't give any unpleasant surprises. As long as you do the homework, tests will be EASY and if you don't understand the homework he is more than willing to help. Lecture is extremely thorough and, refreshingly, almost always error-free. Don't fall asleep!

Probably the best Diff. Eq. teacher at VCU. He made the class very easy, as long as you kept up with the HW assignments. If you did just the HW, you're still doing more than enough work to get an A. Many found the class difficult, but the class was less demanding than other math classes, with very little required from Calculus II.

amazing prof! lec can be really boring just take notes. he explains everything really well. Make sure to do all homework. Tests r like homework. really decent and understandable. has office hours 4 quest. use book quite a bit. Even if u semi understand mat. u should get C or B. If u study a bit u can get A. I was nervous at the beginning of Spring 2004 semester but he really wants to help you succeed. He's just great! He laughes at his own jokes and its so darn cute. Because of him, I enjoy math again. I highly recommend him for this class.
