Dr. Gordon does lecture slowly, but it's to everyone's benefit. Some of the subjects are quite challenging and it is nice to have a prof go over the material in a rigorous fashion. She is very caring and open to help you when she is in the office. Tests can be slightly tougher than the examples in class.

Chemistry has never been my strong suit and this class surely did not help. She talks to you like youre in kindergartion and the lectures are mainly based on how to complete the assignment questions. Goes super slow during lecture. Midterm was okay but you get marks taken off for the dumbest things.

Very nice and is great help when approaching her for help for an assignment question. A bit difficult to pay attention to in class because she dumbs things down a lot, and the fact that all material is from grade 11 and 12 chemistry is no help either. Clicker participation is not required but if you get more than 80% of them you get a bonus 2%.

She's not a very good prof. First, she talks to us like we're in kindergarten and her lectures are so boring I couldn't even bear to attend class, losing the 2% clicker mark. Second, she isn't helpful at all when approached and often left me even more confused than before. Last, the final exam was incredibly difficult even after thorough studying.

Professor Gordon is an EXCELLENT instructor. I feel so fortunate to have had her. She genuinely cares about the student's overall success in the course. She's extremely approachable and her open door policy proves that. Her lecture notes are extremely clear and concise. She's the best prof I've had thus far at Brock.

treats you like you're in elementary school during class...both midterms were soooo easy...and then got destroyed on the final. Labs are annoying. Good prof tho overall!

Professor Gordon was an amazing prof. She did her best to make students have a smooth transition from high school to university. She did a great job at explaining complicated concepts and would find different ways to explain it until she was sure the class understood. I would be so happy if I got her again as a prof :)

Best Prof. I've had to date! She teaches the material as clearly as possible, gives you a chance to earn marks back from your midterms and has great office hours! Her midterms and exams are similar to assignment questions and are straight forward if you understand the material, rather than remember steps to doing a question. I LOVE YOU GORDON!!!!!!

Knows her subject very well, but her lecturing style is so gradeschool that I can feel myself psychologically regressing as the lectures progress. If she could pick up the pace a bit and stop talking like she's addressing 7th graders she'd be a good prof.

Taught 2P12 while Rothstein went on sabbatical (I hear I lucked out big time). Really respect her intellect, as she is one of the brightest people I've come across to date. I think it makes her a bit impatient, but as long as you try, she will keep pushing you until you get it. Simply amazing with names too - remembers EVERY name only being told on

Definately the better of the two profs! Goes over very detailed examples in class which (although VERY boring) help when it comes to the assignments and exams.

She can be very rude. She expects much more than is possible, and expects you to do nothing but schoolwork 24/7. No emotions, and doesn't care that the rest of us have them. Dresses horribly, and makes you feel dumb for not knowing an answer. Lectures are fairly clear, however.

I dont like this woman. Her lectures center around what you need to know for the assignments, not individual concepts. She teaches down to you and makes you feel stupid, and genearlly I dont like going to chem anymore. grr
