Sad she retired because she was an amazing prof! I went into CSC 105 with basic computer knowledge and learned a lot and got a good grade. Very clear in class, fair tests and final, and overall a great class and prof.

Mary is an awesome prof, passionate about what she is teaching and this reflects in her lectures. There were lots of guest speakers who were not nearly as interesting, but most were decent.

Sometimes makes the class feel like we are an elementary class. Wont start class until everyone stops talking. The projects are hard to remember how to do after the lecture because we can't participate in what we are learning. Overall, good for a business program but maybe different teacher next time.

For an into Computer class she expected a lot. We went from excel sheets to coding very fast and she was no always that clear. Mary is funny, animated and obviously loves computers, but not the best prof. Her tests were alright, but you should really go to class.

i took this class because i was told it was extremely easy. Quizzzes and projects are simp to get excellent marks on if you put in the work, However lectures and midterms were confusing and made it hard to know what to study. Written portions of midterms seemed ridiculous and completely different than questions on the reviews or taught in class.

Really good prof! Took the class because it was highly recommended for Business and it was actually a very interesting course! Labs were helpful and assignments were manageable and just challenging enough. You have to get 95% or more to get an A+ but you can still end with a really good mark if you do the work! Good prof and class!

Mary's class was a pretty awesome class. She puts all of her lecture notes online and gives you a lot of resources for studying for tests and finals. Do NOT skip class! Yes her notes are online, but she is very prone to drop EXTREMELY useful hints for midterms/finals. It is not that hard of a course; just show up and put at least some effort in.

Amazing, kind, fun, kinda weird, understandable, helpful, just a great prof! Course isn't hard and she just makes it easier. I completely recommend her, and to Not have a Mac in this class, it's just harder and annoying with a Mac compared to a PC, but obviously not impossible to get an A still with her help. And the TA's are pretty great.

Great teacher! The course has a substantial amount of work and can look intimidating but it's all super easy. Never got lower than an A on the labs, and put all of two hours in for the final project and got 96%. Mary always keeps the classes interesting and funny. She's really helpful, and even tells you what to study for the exams. Easy A!
