Very difficult class. You will need to study the heck out of his powerpoints and practice tests to pass this with an A. No extra credit is given. Thankfully, the tests are basically the same as his practice tests. DO NOT BUY THE TEXT BOOK. Dr. H is a pretty chill dude and he makes class enjoyable.

dr. heisey is the man! i have had him for two classes and now i am tutoring both of them. just come to class and keep your mouth shut and you will score and easy A. If you don't come to class you will end up like the bimbos who gave him all 1s.

hard class if you do not pay attention or come to class. very redundant, the only thing about the class i did not like was the fact that everyone but myself was a nurse, nursing, radiologist, radiology major. they pretty much new everything he was teaching so it was really easy for them and theyhad the privelage of lab that was an unfair advantage

had him for biology AND micro. i wouldnt want to learn bio from anyone else. Very clear, writes everything on the board, DONT BUY THE TEXTBOOK, he gives out practice exams which IS the real exam. It cant get any easier, and he is a great guy

Cannot believe people had problems with this class. If he could do more to give you a solid A, i do not know what it could have been. Do not buy $100 Book, he writes all relevant info on board--straight out of his head. Gives copies of test etc..... Someone once said " if i could choose my dad it would have been Rod Heisey"
