Great teacher!! You may not get some knowledge in class, but as long as you take notes, it will be fine. He is serious, but he will help you if you ask him questions even some really stupid questions. His midterm is hard, but you will find final really easy. I recommend him.

He is a great prof and he knows what he is teaching. Probably the best prof you can get for this absurdly hard course. Expect it to be hard! because this course is so abstract and hard for a second year math course. Just one midterm and one final. Final was FAIR (not easy not hard) this year and he does scale it up so... good luck :)

Math 220 is an interesting and I think I had the best prof ever. Although he had a little accent but his hand writing was so clear and everything was well-explained. If you out effort on the homework and mt, it is an easy A for you

Really fantastic prof. Cares about his students and is a great lecturer. Keep in mind that this is a hard class, but he really does everything he can to make sure students learn.

He has a slight accent, but is very easy to understand. He had had frequent office hours before and after lecture and did a good job of explaining the subject matter. Assignments were directly out of the textbook.

Very solid prof. Explained concepts very well, accent wasn't a problem at all for me. Textbook was well written, but only really necessary for assignments (I would say ~80% of assignment questions were assigned from textbook). I don't understand his low rating here! I very much enjoyed his lectures. Midterm was very easy, but final was not.

It's the course content itself that's very challenging to most, as he said that a mid-60 average is considered very good. He does a okay job communicating the subject, and seems very helpful outside of class. Class notes follow closely, if not identical, from textbook, so theoretically you can just go to class to hand in HW.

His test and midterms are hard, and he doesn't care if a lot of ppl failed cuz he thinks that's way it should go. he always looks very serious and his teaching is not bad after all. it's just the course itself quite challenging to ppl in general.

Extremely Heavy Asian Accent makes him very unclear in class. However, he cares about his students soooooo much and is really willing to help students outside of the class. So don't worry if you don't get what he says in class. Talk to him during his office hours, or any time you want. 1 to 1 teaching as a tutor is a lot better than 1 to 60.

The only good thing about this course is that it has a really clear and concise textbook to coincide with it. Accent makes it really difficult to completely understand what he is saying. Instead of using helpful numerical examples, he uses u's and v's.AHH

The best prof if u are majoring in math.He has a strong asian accent so u may find him hard to understand.Perfect exams.It's possible to ace his exams;I did twice! I took 221,300,307. I will take more courses with him when available.
