Comment:

Dr. Hoch keeps class interesting. You can tell how passionate she is, and she tries to make you feel the same way about the subject. She's humorous as well. I would recommend her to any student. Work load isn't intense, it seems appropriate for an area class. The best part is that I will be able to apply what I learned every day.

Hoch is a great professor and her lessons aren't too bad, you get a weekly quiz but there actually not too bad and her only big assignment is too easy, while B+ may not be the grade i expected seeing how ridiculously easy the final was, i would still take her again if i had the chance!

Dr. Hoch is the best professor to take for Human Sexual Biology. She is fun and knows how to keep her class entertained. My only advice for you is to take her class seriously or you will fail. Come to class everyday, READ THE TEXTBOOK, study the notes, DO THE EXTRA CREDIT, and complete the two projects, and you can possibly walk away with an A.

She's nice but very picky and detailed. There is a quiz every class which she gives out handouts for so you dont need the book. Her class is easy if you really study the handouts which are not that complicated. She also requires 2 papers which make up about 70% and the final exam which is 10%. If you can pay attention to detail you'll be fine.

At first I was hesitant to take her class because she seemed kinda tough, and she is, but you won't regret taking her! An amazing Professor and keeps the class interesting. We only had 2-3 labs. Did not use the textbook at all. Waste of money to buy.You have to hand in neat work and quizes weekly.Final was easy, made up of old quizes so keep them!

This Professor is a very fair professor. I got an A by just doing her work. She gives you 2 papers to write on the first day of class that are due Mid Semester, if you follow direction you will pass. Very fun class and for me it was an easy A!Don't waste your money buying a text book. She goes off the hand outs she gives out.

Anyone who has something nice to say about her is her favorite. She makes up to many fake stories about her friends and how they have amaizing lifes. wow! I learned sooo much from Hoch! i would recommend her to anyone. She only gave 2 paper. One of them was extremely easy, the other was kin of hard, but they were not written papers, they were more like lists! she was great,and she made the class really interesting. no midterm, n no final if u average an A in ur quizzes

Hoch is great. She knows her stuff, always willing to help, just ask. I took her in the summer, and she made it an enjoyable & fun class. She's a fair grader & gives plenty of chances to do better. DON'T wait until the last minute. She gives the proj. early so that u can hand it in early, & she gives it back to u so you can fix it b4 the due date.
