Comment:

Has a likable personality and is very approachable. Sometimes she makes mistakes in her example questions or lecture notes which can be a bit confusing. However, she is a very fair marker and treats exams more like a 'scientific discussion' than a black-and-white, right-or-wrong test. This emphasizes comprehension over memorization.

It's been over 15 years since I took her second-year analytical chemistry course, and I haven't forgotten how great of a prof she was. She was extremely helpful, friendly, and fair. She's partly why I went into chemistry -- and am now chem prof myself.

took this as an intro course but it was too basic, more than grade 10 chem! She's really nice and tries to explain things best as possible. No text or outside sources to review which isn't helpful. Not much note-taking, everything is on her website. Lectures are drawn out and boring, she makes mistakes and has to correct them a lot..
