Excellent professor. Gives the best sets of class notes I've ever had, as well as some of the most helpful problem sets. Also extremely available to help with course material, administrata, and pretty much anything. All around a great guy and superb instructor.

Awesome guy and great teacher. Writes everything he says onto the overhead for you to copy. Speaks clearly with some absurd examples that are kinda funny to listen to. Will eliminate test scores if you had an "off day". Do the HW and do it well and the tests aren't too bad. Class curved after it's done, so a 70 average could turn into an A.

Amazing guy. Exams can be really hard but if you do well (not easy) you feel really accomplished. Take good notes! Really is the epitome of a great professor. Such amazing technical abilities that you wouldn't expect him to have complete command of the English language, but he does. Skillful, witty, funny, personable, genius.

hagerup is the man, he's got this wicked cool rainbow scarf. he knows what he is talking about, class can be tough at times, especially when he regrades the tests, oh yea never ask for a regrade unless it was absolutely butchered.

Hagerup could single handedly own any other professor in the MANE department, and he's like 80 years old. Really nice guy who knows his stuff cold. The tests are quite hard, and can be counterintuitive... but he is still one of the best engineering professors here.

Hagerup is a great teacher who really knows his stuff and is old fashioned (the best way to teach) however come prepared to be confused, spend a lot of time in OH, and take a lot of notes, off of a screen which he blocks with his shoulder all class.
