Comment:

A Dutch theologian well versed in classical apologetics, higher criticism and their merits and dangers. Amazing Bible scholar, and wants to get to the point about Christ in all. Be patient, it's not that he's disorganized, it's that he is filled with a wealth of knowledge, and you are the one who needs to keep up.

Dr K is an incredible person with a lot to offer to those who have open ears. Thorough knowledge of the Bible but a deep passion for Christ and His word is what shows brightest. He has a passion for his students by extension. Thank you Dr K for what you taught me.

This man is passionate, original, and sometimes hard to understand. He changed my life. The way he constructs theology is original and his personal applications are powerful. Some of his philosophy I never understood. I'm not sure the grades were assigned in any kind of objective way. Girls get better grades, future pastors poorer.

Unbelievably hard to understand... his book's just awfully written! Can't understand him, and he likes to give some 'bizarre' ideas out of Pluto. But, he's a nice man, to tall to shake hand with.

A lot of folks will simply say he's easy (or weird, or hard-to-understand, etc) and write him off as that forever. However, I think his style is just different from the other profs. Consider signing up for a class with him, and if he's not your bag, switch to a different one.

Very Good teacher. His style is more sermonic in nature... and how do you take notes or tests on a sermon? But the material covered is life-changing. I'd recomend this class to anyone.

He is an excellent teacher, although his tests are very disorganized. You will learn a LOT from him, MUCH more than the boring facts taught by other professors. He does make you do a lot of work, but he's the best Bible teacher I have had here.

He has a deep love for Scripture and it shows, but his lectures (although rich with stories of people he remembers -- a LOT of people) are full of hits and misses when it comes to clarifying issues. The readings are excellent, but there are MANY pages to read. Be prepared for long papers as well.
