Comment:

This is a boring lecture and you cannot learn anything. Professor just write notes on the board and hard to read. The grade just run by three exams if you get a bad grade on one exam it's over, if you are not good at memorizing notes don't take it on the test you need to answer in word to word. If you want to learn something take other professor.

Comment:

His lectures are boring and refers to religion. Says horrible innapropriate joks, handwriting is horrible. I recommend recording his lectures during class with voice memo. Your grade is based off 3 exams and 10 points of sona,mess up once and it's over. Exams are based on how well you can regurgitate every word he said onto the free response.

Comment:

Dr. Agan is so inspirational; I took away many life lessons from his class. The class is also ridiculously easy - he literally tells you all the exam questions during lecture. This is a class where you don't show up for the content, but for the lessons/insight behind the content.

Course was not very challenging whatsoever. Lectures were interesting and Agan was really nice. Take his class you won't regret it!

Amazing teacher for this intro to Psych. Tests are easy since he goes over topics. Get in a group me so you can get the notes for days that you missed all of them matter. Got the book for free from the group me and it had all the answers to homework just have to skim chapters. Any questions you have he's willing to answer.

This is a writing in the disciplines credit. The weekly essays are grade on a 10pt scale, but the syllabus specifies that 9.5pts is the max you can get. So its impossible to get 100% on them.

This professor is very chill. His lectures are not boring. This class was more of a sit back and relax type of class where you don't have to stress too much. He prepares us for the exams, by telling us the topics. The final was SONA credits which is not tough to complete. Overall, he is an excellent professor!

Comment:

I'm a Psych Minor so this course is required. I averaged a high B on all 3 test so I believed that the SONA hours would boost me to an A overall so I actually received an A-. With that being said aim to make at least 90s on all 3 tests if you want to receive an A overall in the class. Join a GroupMe and that prevent you from having to buy the book.

I took the hybrid course, you turn in a 2-3 page essay weekly about an assigned article, only 2 tests midterm and final which were easy as long as you studied (they were short answer so no multiple choice). Lectures were great, funny, I enjoyed going to class on Saturday (surprising). I only missed 2 days and still managed to make an A.

Dr. Agan is definitely the best professor you will get for an introductory course. He has many funny stories to tell and teaches you about his life experiences. The course is an easy A because he gives you the 30 mc questions that will be on the test leaving you to find them in the book and 5 short answers that you will go over in class. Best prof!

TAKE AGAN!!! He's so good and his lectures are really interesting. The exams are so easy because he doesn't want you to be focused on the grade, he wants you to actually learn something. He's such a good professor and this class is an easy A.

Agan is a genuinely kind guy who wants to see you succeed. I took 1300 because I had to, but ended up taking away some valuable life advice. He makes class fun by showing movie clips and such. He's a jolly guy.

Agan is a great professor! The online cultural psych is an easy A. There's an essay every due every week and only 2 tests that you would have to show up to campus for on Saturday's. He also gives out extra credit. His lectures online were somewhat entertaining, you can totally skip through them and still find the notes during the video.

He literally tells you what will be on the tests verbatim. There are 3 tests that makes up your entire grade. Attendance is not mandatory but I would suggest going for the notes. He talks about himself and play videos for atleast 20 mins each lecture.

Agan is a very inspired old man who lectures pretty off topic. That being said, he gives you the questions that are on the test, so all you need to do is study those questions and you'll get an A guaranteed. I went to class every day and got a 98 on his first two tests, then I started skipping and still got a 89. He's very very easy.

Professor Agan is a perfect professor to take if you are not going into the field of psychology. You will learn absolutely nothing in his class. The way it is structured promotes memorization instead of learning. He gives the test questions before the test so just look up the answers. I skipped class twice a week and still got an A.

EASY A class as long as you: memorize answers for final and midterm and complete the 9 weekly essays. The TA I had didn't give any feedback on essays so it was annoying. But, you can do extra credit to bump your grade up FOUR points. Agan is great and always ready to help. People say he's slow to respond to emails, but he responded quickly to mine.
