I can not give him a low enough rating. His teaching are completely against every culture except the "goddess". He degrades christianity and the books he uses do worse. He never replies to any email and only wants to enforce his opinion. If you don't you will fail his class.

Stay away! Stay far away! This man is an arrogant, condescending, miserable person. He didn't teach a thing - just assigned readings, and his responses were the complete opposite of instructive. I can only conclude that he teaches for an ego boost. My worst "teacher" EVER!! I remain completely baffled about why CSUMB continues to employ him.

People, I am warning you do not take any classes with this man. He is the most unhelpful, unpleasant being I have ever had the misfortune of meeting in my life. On top of this, he doesnt respond to emails, is rude on the phone..this box just isnt big enough for me to continue. this man is the epitome of malevolence. RUN AWAY! plus he is WEIRD!

Either you hate him or you love him. There is no middle ground. My roomate took myth. online and hated it. I took ls 391 and loved it. The class was really easy. But if you don't see eye to eye with him, it is best to keep quiet to avoid a bad grade.

I absolutely loved this class and I think everyone should take it. I learned more in this class about life and respecting people and the planet than any other class I've ever taken. It is highly recommended...especially the trip at the end of the semester.

Best teacher ever! Changed my life! He has a certain way of doing class and if you follow it then you will do fine. Get on his good side, and you will do well in any of his classes. A MUST IS ATTENDANCE. But subject matter is usually interesting enough, so you'd want to come.

IF YOU ARE NOT WHAT HE WOULD CONSIDER A MINORITY DONT EXPECT ANY HELP FROM THIS MAN. HIS LIT CLASSES ARE OK. HIS CULTURE AND CULTURAL DIVERSITY CLASS SUCKS.
