I have taken Dr. Stark for 3 classes, ethics, logic, and humanities. Probably the best educator I have ever had! Go to class and take notes, or if online do the homework! He gives you the answers to the test in class, and online he gives you the answers if you do the homework properly. More educators should be like him!

Good and Bad, I took two classes with Herman Starks this fall 2017 semester and he was excellent in the on campus class but was terrible in the online class. He is a great teacher who provides documentaries and lectures to back up his teachings on work religions for 103. However, for the online 102 class,grading was unfair and feedback was vague.

I had Mr. Starks for PHL 102 online, and I am taking PHL: Logic 105 online. I was pleased with my grade and impressed with the hands on Mr. Starks provided with his online classes. However, students you must do the reading and answer the questions; trust me he will respond, that's if you allowed the appropriate time for Mr. Stark to do so.

I loved his class. I took his Ethics class online, a lot of reading but he made it interesting. He really made you think about what you read and make sure that you understood it. If you had any questions, he worked with you for you to come up with the answers. Awesome. Would love to take another course with him.
