Go to class, jot a few notes downwhat he types. Does have a paper that isn't too bad. and ask for his usual "make a multiple choice question".

The Quizzes and test are very gray, so you need to know your stuff. The movie paper you need to do more than last minute, its a hassle. He has a lot of little things you have to do, so you have to stay on top of the syllabus to make sure they're done in time. I doubt I take another Brill class because he demands a lot of work

Very tricky quizzes and multiple choice questions. A very kind and understanding professor. Would make class interesting. A very likable professor who would serve as a good example of how professors should treat students.

Great professor. Very helpful and encouraging. Don't underestimate his final, quizes or assignments. They WILL be challenging and are designed to trip you in certain areas. I never wanted to miss a class though because it was always entertaining. Best Professor I had my first year!

Civ Pro B: Rules, Rules, Rules. Interesting professor, but the material is hard to digest regardless. He tries his best to make it interesting... celebrating Johnny Cash Day, having the end of year Civ Pro musical, etc. TOUGH TESTS AT THE END!!

Organized, informative lectures with a faux folksy charm. Don't bother him outside the classroom though. That open office door is not an invitation to stop by and chat about diversity law.

Very good professor. Clear explanations for a difficult subject. Feedback throughout the semester, not just the finals. Makes the cases come alive.

Don't buy the blue book. Just get his book, because that's all we use. I suggest not taking him and just studying hard on your own for the MPRE. He just grades too hard for PR.

Brill was a great professor in PR. He may not have always been able to get right to the point, but he genuinely cared about his students and was interested in the material. He is a MUST HAVE before graduating!

He is well-organized and types out his notes during class. His multiple choice questions are pretty difficult. He has an appeal process for his quizzes and tests, but he doesn't concede easily. Attendance is not mandatory, but it certainly is helpful. He randomly calls on people during class, so if you do attend, be prepared to answer questions.

A good teacher to have. Go to class though, he tries to throw you off on his tests and if you haven't really put thought into the issues, you will miss some questions;

He's great. He's an extremely informative, well organized professor. His class is interesting, and you'll definitely learn a lot. His multiple choice questions are fairly hard, but his essays usually aren't too bad. He also gives opportunities for points (besides just the final). He's quirky too.

Great teacher. I disagree with the person who said he wasn't clear or organized. I think just the opposite. Also, I've found him to be very personable out of class. It's obvious that he really cares about his students.

Poor teacher. Might know his stuff, but he's an disorganized lecturer who doesn't clearly articulate rules of law. Can stretch 15 minutes of lecture into an hour and a half, thanks to stupid-ass "group projects.". Get the outline and skip clas
