The textbook was put together by him which is full of errors and funny Chinglish (Chinese style of English). Yet, he demands absolute perfection and your translation has to matches with his, or bad marks. Cognitive abilities are not required as long as you can memorize every word.

nice teacher. If you want to get high marks, make sure you talk to him before or after class, as well as participate in class. The better he knows you, the more generous with marks he is. He is very fussy about "logic", but it's not hard getting 80% for your presentations. Final is very easy!

Dr. Mou is an excellent teacher. He is extremely knowledgable about his subject area, he is caring and have a great sense of humour. You'll never be bored in his class. He explains everything in detail and he makes sure that you understand what he teaches. Highly recommended to everyone.
