I had Huckabee for 101 and 102 and I made a C in 101 and a B in 102. He teaches a lot about life and its useful information. He does teach you how to write. He wants you to go the extra mile to get help. He misses a lot of classes and understands when you have to miss class.

Entertaining man. Knows what he's talking about. He can help you if you're willing to let him. In the midst of his witty and interesting writing and life lessons (which I enjoyed), he seemed like his passion was somewhere else--probably in law.

He wnats to teach you about life more than writing. I hated him till the end when you start to respect him. He does give grades better than a C and all you have to do is try but he leaves it up to you to get help.

HORRIBLE! Had him 1st year and realized even then that he didn't teach. Got a hard earned C. Doesn't teach, had his wife come in to do it one day. Is late constantly, every day almost. Talks on unrelevant subjects such as law;this is his 2nd job it shows.

He thought that we were in a law class instead of Freshman Composition, he was very hard. He rarely showed up for class. He was not clear on assignment due dates. When we did receive papers back, he was not clear with his grading.
