lots of reading to do and it is a MUST! suggest going to class, she checks and get a lot of info on. tests have a LOT of writing!!! a little too much sometimes, but if you read books and go to class you should know everything. She is definately one of the best professors I have had at STATE. She is really passionate about her subject that she travels from Chicago every week to teach. She has insightful and interesting lectures. She gives you all the information you need. She gives you study guides before test. Must read the children's book. Very enjoyable class.

She is a great teacher. Even though she lectures the entire time, the lectures are INTERESTING! She has a lot to say and she makes you think. I loved the class and I think she is a great instructor. Like everyone said she gives a study guide, the tests are pretty easy but you HAVE to read ALL the books. If you try a little you'll get an A Have fun!

i love her class. her lecture are very interesting if u pay attention. but she talks very fast during lecture, so u kinda have to write fast. she very strict about attendance n tardiness. but other than that she gives you study guide before the test. tests aren't that difficult. she is willing to help u if u don't understand something.

She talks a lot, but she's interesting so it's ok. Tests are not hard because she gives you a study guide, if you study you should get an A. Really nice lady, wants you to be interested in Child's Lit too. Even though class can get boring, it's interesting material and she's not very hard.

Good teacher but talks the ENTIRE class. Does not emphasize important information during lecture, so you will constantly scramble to write everything down. Only 3 test...attendance is a must, you can only miss 3 days.

Awesome teacher. Very passionate about the subject. Take good notes, don't miss class, and study her study guide; you'll pass the class for sure. I recommend bringing a tape recorder because your hand does get tired. Highly recommended.
