He gets excited for plants. If I could do up his lecture slides for him (to make them super organized and clear), than his classes would be much easier to follow and study off of. I would always recommend this proff. I also agree that he should take up show business or be a narator for the discovery channel when concerning plants.

Hugues is by far one of my favourite Professors. I found his teaching methods excellent since your grade is actually proportional to the amount of effort you put into the courses and studying. Also, I should mention I needed to put this review on here because of the 3 POOR, NONSPECIFIC reviews already here. He's great and would recommend his class.

The funniest and friendliest professor at UNBC. Does his job for the most part well. My only complaint is he's very easy to distract and get off topic (which is why we love him) - the result is we can be up to a month behind and miss out on material we should be covering.

One of the nicest guys. Very passionate about plants. Use of humour and animation wasn't just entertaining but helped me remember material that was taught. Super helpful!!! Merci beaucoup M. Massicotte!!! Truly enjoyable (hard tests fun labs and lectures)
