Comment:

I had Hummel for 3 semesters straight, and she is really a sweet old lady. She gets annoyed when people do not come prepared or do not pay attention. And she rips apart every assignment you do, but also has you make corrections. By taking her classes I became a much better writer. If you can take criticism, then you'll be fine in her class.

She dies help a LOT, but by that I mean she ripps your papers apart. If you can handle a lot of criticisim then shes not too bad. She is very old though and sometimes unorganized, but in the end you do get something out of her class; however, she does not always give the clearest discussions.

I had a great time in this class. Alot was expected and it was tough, but I love English and so does Hummel. Her perespective is cool 2. She's seen alot and I wanna hear and learn more from her. I want to be a great writer and Hummel can help.

One of the worst english teachers I have had if you get the chance take Kendal. Hummel is unorganized at times which makes your work alot harder. Assigns a 2 pg paper over the weekend when she has yet to even finish marking your last paper. Don't take her you and your GPA will regret it.

She is one of the most supportive and helpful prof. ever. She know's what she is talking about and makes you learn the subject. If you can't write well, it's not her fault, but she's willing to help. Take advantage of her experience, kindness and helpful nature. It's not all that common in profs. She is worth taking agian and agian.

Worst teacher I have ever had, and I got stuck with her again!!!! :-( I hope I never have her again after this semester. If she doesn't understand something she just tries to make something up so it seems like she's smart. I corrected her on more than one occassion on my own papers!
