Dr. Lewis is insanely smart. Music in the Church was a great class. There weren't many clear guidelines for grading, and there were a few papers, but no exams. I'm pretty sure he just gives everyone an A. There are some really cool projects and he loves to meet with you just chat about life, and music, especially organ and worship stuff. Cool guy.

He knew exactly what he was talking about and made it interesting even for someone who has taken music classes her whole life. He has an awesome sense of humor and keeps class interesting! His tests are fair- just make sure you take notes from the lecture. He is interested in each student.

He is a very funny and sweet man, but his class was very boring, It is an hour and twenty minute class and he uses every second. It is hard to tell what is important to know during his lectures cause he tends to ramble. But if you have a fairly good musical background this will be easy for you!
