One of the worst professors and classes i have taken, never has a introductory religion class tried so hard to cram so much into such a small amount of TIME. DO NOT TAKE RELG 204

I hated this class. I understand it's 3 religions into one semester, but if that was going to be a problem they should eliminate the course. Prof. Henderson does seem passionate and he is knowledgable , but he isn't a good prof. He mocks students in class, and rambles on about unimportant things. Our midterm average was 68.. try avoiding!

Ian Henderson is one of the worst teachers I have ever had. His lectures are long, boring and they don't cover the material that shows up on the test. Never take this teacher, he makes fun of students in class and has inconsistent expectations.

The worst Professor I have had at McGill. He is unhelpful and unclear. His lectures are unstructured and pointless. He babbles on without making any clear points or covering the necessary material. He has unrealistic expectations when grading, he doesn't tell you what he wants or why he graded your work the way he did.

Very interesting class, I definitely recommend taking as an elective! The weekly short reading assignments can feel tedious, but if you spend some time on them it will pay off with even higher marks. He is a tough grader but in the end your mark is very fair. Henderson knows his stuff; although the lectures are somewhat scattered you learn a lot

Interesting prof but can be unclear and rude at points. Honestly when he belittles students I think he is just trying to be funny...

Smart, engaged and interesting. He is clearly fascinated with subject and does a good job passing on that interest to the class. He loses his train of thought sometimes and can occasionally be difficult to follow, but Prof. Henderson is always funny and his class is never boring. Easy to learn from, but you must be well versed in the material.

Once you get past the not-so-subtle student lampooning, he's actually a really great teacher. If you're looking for knowledge, he's your man. Fair grader, really looking to see in students a deep comprehension of the overall themes of the course (let the reader understand: this is how you'll do well on the final exam!)

He get's very excited about the material, though he gets sidetracked very easily and can be difficult to follow. The course should really have a different name too, as it is more about the context of Jesus and the society he lived in than about Jesus himself. Still interesting though.

Worst professor ever. And has the worst T.A. in the history of T.A.s. Thanks to him, even though I enjoyed the Judaism and Islam section, I despise this course. If he's the prof, that's your sign to stay away.

A great professor who uses wit, humour and subject expertise to make his points. Encourages students to think and enter into dialogue. Demands the best from his students and grades fairly. He has a few quirks, which when understood, are actually body language used to identify that something is particularly important to note.

pretty much the most adorable little absent minded professor i've ever seen. highly scatterbrained, between dancing to cell phone ringers and slapping his face with his tie he somehow manages to give both an amusing and fascinating lecture. However, its difficult to take notes in his lectures since theres so much random info.

He is the worst teacher I have ever had. I have learned nothing and he expects you to reveal something that has never been discovered in order to get a decent mark. Run now while you still have the chance.

One of my favourite profs. Funny and knows tons on the subject. His lectures seem random and difficult to follow but if you just GO WITH IT then you will realize he has a point. Give it time, he will teach you a lot. The course is fascinating and really shook my world. Not too much work and ezy exam
