Awesome research supervisor. Goes crazy with ideas at times, but in a good way. Always helping and developing student skills. He strives to get his students published. Definitely do a reading course or research project with him!!! :D

Some of the worst jokes I've ever heard, making the class long and extraordinarily painful. He often showed pointless movies, including "Batman" to show dualism and dating service commercials to show god knows what. If I did not know that first year Psychology itself is extremely dry, he would be the single cause of me never taking Psychology again

I think people are being way too harsh. Just appreciate that he's made an effort to keep class intresting. I agree that he sinserly cares that we do well in his class. Terrible of the following: Jokes, use of video clips, teaching style, repetition of the word "pedagogy", voice (ERR UM ERR STFU). I can't even sit in his class anymore it's THAT bad. When I showed up for the exam it has the dumbest selection for E possible. He may as well not include it at ALL. Just have a,b,c,d. He asks questions about the Rainman

The guy is unbelivable, his midterm was a series of questions based on things that not only did he never cover in class but i didnt see half of the things in the textbook, the class average was just above a pass, you think he would take that as a sign about how terrible he is. The other psyc classes had such a fairer test from the sounds of it.

says UM.. and ERR... a lot to a very annoying point, and he just talk about his experiences, power point are not in point form instead is a HUGE paragraph, always play videos and videos and videos, and he keep making jokes he thinks its funny but acutally is not. Lastly, he has a FURBY with him.

History of psyc - I was dreading this course, and for the first few classes I really hated going... but then I realized that Lubek is SUCH a KIND person.. he is very reasonable, and ultimately is concerned for the student's well-being. Very caring professor, and extremely intelligent.

He's the most unreasonable prof/person EVER! I had a compassionate reason and asked for extension for PSYC DE midterm. The reply he gave me was, "this is an elective for you, you can drop this class!" I am still extremely pissed at this! and he's extremely boring!

Throughout the course I thought I despised him. He didn't teach, nothing made sense and it seemed hopeless. But I realised, after the exam and major paper, that his strategy worked: he forces you to work hard and think for yourself, something more university professors should try. A+++++!

Weird! He thinks he is such a funny man, but his jokes are dry and stupid. He is just making himself look bad. He is very sarcastic and talks to everyone like they are 5 years old. You would think a person with a Ph.D would dress more professionally. He needs to comb his hair.

What a bad professor. It's very easy to do well in his courses, as long as you pay virtually no attention to his long-winded, redundant explanations of things. We spent 15 minutes during our final exam getting instructed on how to fill out a scantron. Nice guy, but completely out of it.

Nice man, very disorganized, needs to figure out power point and realize that he doesnt have to remind us who our TA's are every class. Waaay too many movie clips also, needs to use more real life footage rather than bombarding us with Hollywood stuff all the time. A genuinly nice guy though.

Laziest prof ever, but very pleasant. - uses the students to teach the entire course. He did 2 lectures. Very sad as the content was brilliant, but most students are not good lecturers. Read the book yourself. His sweaters are interesting though.
