Organic is hard period. Wahl is not the greatest teacher, but he does know what he is talking about. His test are pretty easy compared to other professors. Read the book and work problems from the solution manual and you should be fine.

The man knows his chem! Stay on top of assignments, notes and class prep by reading ahead and you will be fine. Very willing to help, very fair, entertaining, tests are straightforward if you are on the ball. If you goof off, he won't go easy on you, work hard, he will help all he can. You will be glad you had him come later classes, Great Prep

Once you figure out his teaching style, he's not so hard to understand. The tests are very practical and as long as you work and understand the webassign and book problems, they aren't hard. He can be very entertaining and funny.

Not only is this class difficult but he doesn't make it any easier! You really have to be on top of this to even understand lecture, probably good idea if you read the chapters ahead of time. He also expects everyone to study 1 hour each DAY for his course. If you are not in serious need of this course avoid him!!

This is a HARD class! He definitely knows his stuff and tries to make the lecture somewhat interesting. Be prepared to ask a lot of questions. Take good notes cause he tends to be all over the place. The web assignments are killer. The tests are all short answer/fill in the blank.

I got nearly 20 pts back on one test, so look for grader mistakes. Def. very fair when it comes to grading! ALL of his tests were worth about 115, so you can still miss 15 pts on a test and still get a 100!! You must know all the reactions, but the rxn mechanisms arent really stressed on exams.

He is a very hard prof although he teaches everything that you would want to know, but the tests are hard and challenging, requires a lot of out of class time!!!! i would recommend taking another prof if you want an A or B

Avoid this man as you would avoid hacking off all your limbs with a rusty spoon. Knowledgeable but unwilling to share that with you. Unresponsive to questions, not helpful in anyway, tests are unreal...etc. etc. Too bad he hasn't been fired
