Comment:

Prof. Tomic was great. It says in his syllabus that you need the textbook but it's not necessary. Tests are solely based on the PowerPoints in class and are cumulative so review past material. There is a partner essay. Classes can get boring at times but he explains the material well so nobody is left behind and he's always available after class.

Super nice guy. No work out of class (or barely). One paper with a partner, 3 tests, one final. Did not get the textbook and I made it. Tests were from the power point. Study the power point and you will do fine! Do go to class though, even though it gets boring sometimes.

An A is possible just study for the quizzes (3 tests and a final). One research paper done with a partner with lots of time to get it done. His power points at very good but confusing at spots. Pay attention during lectures although it is hard to stay focused because he is very monotone and extremely slow when speaking.

The course was pretty straightforward and he does a great job at thoroughly explaining the topics. He often gives you opportunities to ask questions and is usually available after class. The tests are a little tricky but if you study you'll be fine.

Professor Tomic is a great man. If you need extra help or simply want to ask him a question hes always there for you. Tests were made up straight from his PPTs and were fair. Says you need to get the textbook, but I didnt open it once and managed to do good in his class.

Professor Tomic truly cares about his students and wanted us to do well. I was able to take his class for 1301 and 1302. He gives 3 exams and a final which are all from the Power Points. He is always willing to help after class or his office hours.

Hes ok not the best by any means. His tests are extremely tricky and thats pretty much all youre graded on. His reviews on dont represent his class. Hes nice but his lectures are a drag and you dont really learn much

I took him for HON1301 and HON1032. He was consistent through both semesters, and a really chill guy. Definitely cares about us as students, but respects us and our space. He is totally willing to answer questions and help out if you ask.

He's a great guy. Really cares about his students. Easy to email for questions, offers (often) to see people at office hours, will talk to you after class. Tests are based 100% on the powerpoints, and he provides them at the beginning of the school year. 10% for participation, including attendance, but it's fine if you show up occasionally.

definitely take him! He gave 3 tests, a final, & a presentation project. Homework isn't mandatory, but you should just do it. All tests are super easy if you read the notes he gives you, & the presentation was just a chapter outline done with 1 other person & you don't need to present. only need textbook to do presentation! attendance doesnt matter

Professor Tomic is the sweetest and most caring professor I've had. He wants all his students to succeed so if you ever need help ask him. His powerpoints are clear, his tests and quizzes are straightforward, and he gives you plenty of time for projects. Overall, I'd definitely recommend him to anyone.

Professor tomic is really passionate about economics. I really enjoyed taking his class. There are three quizzes and a final. His notes are very clear. Sometimes class can get a little boring but it is all worth it since he gives lessons for life. He normally will let the class out 30 minutes early

Comment:

Igor is one of the nicest professors I've ever had. Aside from teaching economics, he teaches life lessons and valuable business knowledge. Plus, he lets his students out, on average, a half-an-hour early. There are a few quizzes, two of which are the midterm and final, and a 10 page (single spaced) research paper. Don't procrastinate like I did!!
