Ike has always made me see things in a much more artistic way. Very fair, a no bull type of prof. Too bad he retired, will be missed greatly.

Ike was one of the most awesome teachers I ever had. He allowed tons of freedom to explore & learn. I'm very sad to hear that he's retired & that the bronze facility is not being used! I learned so much through this course, not just about bronze casting, but also about myself. Ike clearly cares about students & has been a great mentor to many.

Ike is now retired and what a hole has been left in the art department at MU - bronze casting facility is not being used at all and just conceptual garbage being produced. An easy out if you really can't produce. If you really wanted to learn sculpture, this was the professor to have had.

Just an amazing class and experience. I have to admit that Ike is very moody sometimes and impatient with students. However in the end he is somewhat helpful and really loves what he does. His love for bronze casting really gets his students excited about it. :) To sum it all up~ JUST PLAIN AWESOME!

Neat class! He gets students excited about working in bronze. Intelligent and nice man. Have to chase him sometimes to get help, but his friends that pop in are really nice and helpful too. Definately try the pouring!

This is the most boring class ever he is a horrible teacher. It is easy though. He can't grade thou he counts his extra credit questions as part of the test and doesnt know how to fix it. Don't take this class unless you have to.

The tests are very easy if you go to the review session the class before. He is a nice man and funny too, it kind of made me feel bad about sleeping through all the classes that I didn't skip. I got an A.

Wow, what a boring class. Although, i will give it to Ike and his random comments to keep the class laughing. Not bad, can skip class and go to the review and still manage a decent grade.

He is a good teacher for sculpture. He makes the class fun and talks to you about interesting things. However, you have to bug him to help you. If you don't make yourself known he wont help you!

HA HA HA!!! I can verify, he did indeed say the "giant *****" comment in class! HA HA! I really did learn quite a bit from this Christopher Lowell like guy though. He was a trip, and a good professor.
