Mod Sci @ Mt Mary. Dr. B is a character.Like most scientists,she's eccentric but kept class interesting, esp 6-9pm.I can see some people not vibing w/ her personality but was very accommodating, giving more time for assignments and answer ?s whenever.Enjoyed online course materials, didn't need text,although MTM failed to tell us prior to start.

By far the worst teacher I've ever had in all of my education not only at Marquette, but in Middle School & High School. She reads information directly from Wikipedia and the classes / labs are pointless and often do not relate to the class at all. Otherwise, very easy class. But remember! As she has said, "It's not my job to teach!"

SHE IS HORRIBLE! Class is a blow off, but she is by far the worst professor I have ever had. She doesn't teach. Tests are copy and past of online quiz she posts two nights before. Labs are stupid!!!!!! Waste of time but take it if you need to get rid of the science credit.

Ingrid is awesome. All you have to do is show up with your computer, study in class, and take a quiz daily. She pretty much gives you all the questions on the test. Labs are simple. Take this class if you want to laugh.

Lecture is very general, if you can, try to take the lab that she teaches. I did and I was able to get a lot of information about exactly what I needed to know from labs. BEst way to study is to just accept what the notes say and not try to make sense of it. a group of us did that for the final and all got A's. genuine lady and very funny.

Absolutely horrible. Lecture is just her standing in front of the class, rambling about nothing. I never knew what was going on. If you want a good laugh, take the class. If you want a good grade, don't take it. That simple. If you do take it, make sure it's with a friend. Absolute nutjob. Can't believe I made it a whole semester through it

She's a little crazy...but funny because of it. She smells like a giant cigarette. Labs are a joke. Write the papers (which the TAs grade) and you'll do fine. If you have an 88 before the final exam you can take it online.

She is...interesting. There's a quiz everyday, usually no more than 10 questions. Most of the notes are online, but they can be confusing. You have to keep track of the calendar yourself for exams and papers. The labs are super easy, especially with a good TA. Overall not too tough, but i suggest you get a different teacher if you can.

Great teacher, very knowledgeable. A little crazy at times but she cracks me up. She is available to help anytime on skype or the TA's help a lot too. There is a quiz everyday and all the notes are online, there are a bunch of interesting movies that are required to watch and the tests are mostly T/F, mult choice, and fill in the blank.

Dr. Buxton was definitely the craziest woman I have ever met. Her class, although confusing @ times because her notes did not always match the material on the quizzes, was good. The labs were pointless, and the TA's were a joke (and they knew it). Despite all this, I would recommend her to non-science majors.

The class itself might be the easiest class at Marquette. Every lecture, quiz, and lab is basically a review of high school science courses (basic circuits, density, light, waves,etc..). Dr. Burxton is also one of the craziest teachers you'll see, strange comments and actions.
