Study her powerpoints, class is literally all memorization. She's extremely boring, does not offer extra credit, and I would never want to come to class bc I felt I could teach myself the info. The lectures feel long, her tests are "books" lol. But class is doable just not enjoyable.

All of her quizzes and exams are absolutely doable, but they're basically all the diagrams. She can be boring and the info might seem overwhelming but it's really not that bad. Do not buy the textbook. All info and diagrams needed are in her Powerpoints.

Comment:

The only reason this class is hard is that she puts so much information on the quizzes, espec. the tests (midterm + final). She's incredibly busy and involved so don't be surprised if your class doesn't feel like a priority to her. Prof Johnson is really sweet and helpful though and her lectures are always pretty funny. Textbook is helpful.

She knows her stuff but she's very confusing about how she gives directions. There is a ton of material to learn but her tests and quizzes are surprisingly easy and do-able. She can be kind of rude and abrupt sometimes so try and get on her good side?

She is sweet and brilliant. However her lectures can feel boring because she is so soft spoken and doesn't have the most "exciting" demeanor. Basic generic lecture with PP slides. She really knows her stuff and will help you out of class if you ask her. My biggest issue: she gives you absolutely no clue of what content to study, good luck

She's not the most interesting but she did make the material pretty easy to understand. All questions are taken from the powerpoint. Only reason the book helped me was for images that weren't on the powerpoint or didn't print very clear. Also reviews in the back of the chapters helped me. Take her!

Easy A if you study the slides. She puts all the pwrpts online. Very BORING teacher. She does not know the material herself and she does not make anatomy interesting. All she does is read off her slides. We had our quizzes online..so easy! Tests are matching and m/c, very easy. Overall, she is a very sweet person and makes the class easy.

Mrs J is very strict on attendance, lowers ur grade if u dont show up.Class is boring, all she did was talk. Weekly quizes, 4 tests, 1 group proj. Tests were pretty easy if u memorize the notes and structures.. Overall annoying class b/c u gotta b there but she isnt interesting! She's disorganized- didnt post things online when she said she would.

very disorganized! Everyone else is right if you expect to learn anything from this class you're going to have to teach yourself. She never hands anything back when she says she will and I don't think she even knows the material she teaches. Hopefully Towson will get some better teachers for this major.

Very disorganized and unclear. Pretty much need to teach yourself the entire course. Fair grading system, tests are hard. Only teacher for this course so your pretty much screwed if u need to take it. Just study hard and dont listen to one word she says!

If you're taking her for 101 she's an easy "A"but, I highly reccomend you avoid her for any higher level class. She doesn't like to answer questions and relies heavily on the proctors. I have spent a majority of this semester teaching myself the material since her notes are so unclear. Take her as a last resort, you will survive but it will be hard

always late to class. Lets class out early sometimes. never read the book! a midterm, a final, and two little projects is your grade. Attendance is mandatory! She hands out notes in class. very slow with grading and doesnt respond back to e-mails. very nice lady, but seems to be a little unorganized. Knows what she's talking about.

Hard class. Hard to avoid for sppa majors:she is the only teacher and always busy= always late, esp. on test days. quizzes are hard and i found myself studying a lot for them (almost every week, 15 points each)Test ?'s are sometimes unpredictable, but studying book questions helps. Not everything in the book is on tests tho. Grades take forever!

I took this as a once a week class and every lecture seemed to drag on. It is very boring. Don't make that mistake. She is a great teacher, but just doesn't have interesting material to work with. There are only two tests but they are easy.
