This guy is probably the most pleasant, open-minded, and concerned teacher on campus. You only NEED to show up to class on 4 dates (3 tests and a project) and as long as you read the book (which I admit is long, but not boring) you should pass the class with a B. One of my most favorite teachers all time, I never regret taking the class.

GREAT teacher. Don't listen to those who did poorly...it's definitely an easy B...possible to get an A if you do the HW. I wasn't very knowledgeable about religions before the class but he taught A LOT and peaked my interest, that's for sure. The sweetest teacher I've ever had! Love his personal stories. Brilliant man.

the nicest teacher ive ever had at state. do the readings and the homework and youll be fine. the class isnt too bad. shows a lot of videos which are interesting. he's very helpful and like i said, super nice. and make sure to go to lecture, a lot material on the test comes from the lecture. easy if you go to class and read the book.

Very soft spoken, nice guy, interesting class, and very good class structure, there is a field report and 3 tests no cumliative final, Do the homework and you'll pass the tests and the homework is easy. The prof kinda reminds me of my grandfather when he used to read me to sleep at night.

I was nervous to take this class because of previous ratings, but it's like any other straight forward class. Do all the reading and you'll get an A like me. He's so helpful too, and always responds quickly to emails. The videos are boring, goodluck stay awake through those! Overall, a very do-able class! Not an EASY A, but an A is possible .

Nice guy. Helpful. Do the reading and do it on time. Go to class and take notes. Some test questions are quotes from the book and are easy to forget. He tells interesting personal stories. Uses powerpoint. Paper isnt too hard (read "Night").

Wonderful teacher. He's be very unbiased and understands all the religions very well. I loved his mini life stories. He never took role, but I would never miss his class. He was so approachable and his lectures were very interesting. Loved the class and the teacher.

I hardly ever study for classes and really never pay attention and I got B+, so Im sure if someone actually studied they could get an A, he is a nice guy and is willing to talk to you and help you out. There might be other teachers that are easier, but this guy isnt tough at all

Great professor I really learned a lot. Stayed very unbiased. Tests are EXTREMELY hard, but he curves a lot. Three tests and an easy bookreport Do the homework cause it's easy and helps your grade. Go to class-it's interesting and STUDY!!!
