Very hard professor to understand. Ruined my chances of getting a good grade by not covering topics that were important, and lack of ability to be straightforward and when tried just goes for about 40 minutes in circles. Definitely give him my respect but, did not like this professor's style and I love Mathematics.

This prof is completely useless. For Intro to Calculus I only used Grant's Tutoring notes to study because Gerhard's notes were completely incomprehensible. He definitely cannot teach.

You can't go to his lectures and expect to understand anything, i found that studying out of class is actually necessary or you will fail. Labs are much more useful. Looks like the abominible monster from the claymation "rudolph the rednose reindeer" movie.

Easy enough to follow. Does do some helpful problems on the overhead, though his powerpoint notes can make you drowsy (especially at 8:30 am). Not a total stiff, he's pretty much par for the course.

Is all over the place. His "book" (I'm sure he's just dying to have it published soon) is somewhat useful. His classes are somewhat boring. He is sometimes arrogant and non-approachable; but if he is in a good mood, he will help you / answer your questions. Odd (different) personality, laughs and mumbles a lot to himself...
