Dr. Bowman is a very good professor in my opinion. She is extremely intelligent so in lecture you have to use the PowerPoints as she does - as an outline - and pay attention to how she explains the points. Do the homework before its due so you understand some concepts before class or she will get frustrated because no one knows what she asks.

She give a little extra credit but she is hard grader and her lecturing is not bad but is kinda boring to listen too. Doesnt give study guides for test but tells you what the essay questions are thats it. She gives tons of homework but that helps your grade a ton. As long as you do the lab and homework you should fine. Must make Cs on the test.

one of the best TECH professors. I took this class in the summer, and it was a lot of work to be done. You have to do the review questions of each chapter, entry and exit ticket and the entry ticket for the lab plus the previous lab report. Tests are easy. she doest not lecture but answer questions. she gives 70 or more extra credit opportunity.

I say the best teacher for Intro. Although she gives homework, the homework are questions on the tests. She is best at one on one help, also ASK QUESTIONS! she will answer them in the most simplest way for someone who has no idea what science is!

Awful prof. She did not help me with understanding the material. It is powerpoint, notes, then the test. The tests usually have random questions and she does not grade labs fairly no matter how hard you try. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

Do your homework and don't skip class! Her tests come from HW questions and notes. She likes to sneak in little comments in her notes to test on. Very helpful. Just email her and she will take care of it! This is an involved class..no cakewalk.

She does not grade fairly. It does not matter how hard you work on something, she will always find something wrong. Even if you and your lab partners have the exact same answers, there will be all different scores. She will tell you evolution is the only way to go, so if you are a firm believer against it, she will make you mad.

Do NOT take her. I loved Biology before taking this class. She takes pride in the fact that she knows more than most of her students and will tell you so. She procrastinates on grading and you are lucky if you have all the material you need to study for the test. She does put the essay questions online.

I love this prof ! She is awesome and very helpful. Just do whatever she asked you to do. That's not tall much. I made an A and I got exempted from the final! Definetly recommend her!
