Comment:

Chen is an intelligent man, but does not teach well. He really cares about his research but not so much about teaching. He is very difficult to understand, but getting an A in his class is easy if you memorize the old exams, or memorize the study questions. He's hilarious and always has something quirky to say.

Probably the funniest prof in the school, sort of confusing until you understand his accent. Get the old exams or you fail. Very smart dude tho, i like him. Its a lot of material but his exams are always the same as the old ones. hehe lol :)

Hard to understand at times. Good sense of humor. He is a very smart man, but not a good professor. Exams don't follow his lecture notes or the textbook, only way to succeed in this class is to get the old exams as he doesn't change much

His courses are relatively difficult, and he strays from the textbook, but his method challenges students, promotes personal learning, and teaches outside the box, providing information not generally found in a textbook. if you attend class, read, ask question, research= golden. Don't be afraid to talk to him, he is kind, interesting, and a genius

Chen, is extremely boring to listen to in class. Does not follow the textbook or his notes when it comes to an exam. Horrible at teaching, does not speak clearly. Get his old tests or you will fail his class. Worst prof ever, did not learn anything from him.

Loved him as a prof, he is a brilliant man. Has a good sense of humour and if he knows you, he will stop and talk to you. Unfortunately he doesn't speak perfect english, and a lot of people find his lectures difficult to follow - you must pay attention well. I recommend sitting near the front and putting your laptop away. Read the chapters too!

Brilliant man, but very challenging for 1st year - takes some time to adjust to his lectures - will not post online so you must listen well and write/type like mad! Had to self teach 3 chapters as not enough class time to cover - truly a challenge w final exam falling 2 weeks b4 exam week - unfair :0(

He is damn smart. And once you get past his generic anatomy, he is a blast to have as a teacher. However, he never changes the damn exams and will have stuff on one exam that isnt taught until the week after. Very witty, if only he spoke better english. Still though, other than the course being interesting itself, dont bother.

tries very hard to be helpful,but theres only so much helping you can do when your coughing so damn much. Nice man, slaps a joke in there once in a while, if you get it..they're great.Get a hold of old tests for multiple choice, study these and your set.

He is not helpful. He is unclear and can not speak english very well. He is very hard to understand and he is unsympathetic when students don't have a clue what he is trying to teach. Hard tests and unclear questions. I would not recommend his class, unfortunately it's mandatory for the program.

doesn't speak english very clearly, which can be distracting when he's pronounced muscle names and stuff, which is also kinda funny. Really difficult tests, unless you get the previous years, since he never changes them. His class sucks, his lectures are uninformative, which is why i stopped going.
