Don't listen to these negative comments below. I am absolutely awful at spanish but it is not because of Polonowski. He wants all of his students to do well. Very funny guy also. Just do NOT ever talk when he is talking because he will be FURIOUS at you for a long time. Tests are tough, but they aren't worth too much of your grade.

I really liked this professor, he really has a passion for Spanish. He is also a great role model and professor. Advisors/ the department, etc does not have a very clear understanding of this course though, it is a slow spanish 201, not a fast paced 101-102. This really screwed me. Schedule changes were frustrating...but lots of fluff points.

Very frustrating professor. Treated us like bad people if we missed an assignment. I felt like a high-schooler. Explanations not at all clear, especially of pronunciation. Felt like he was reading a script from teaching H.S. 35 years, i/c same jokes. Never looks at students, even if approached 1-on-1. Acts like saint when lowers dept. expectations.
