I had Dr. Fenwick LOTS of years ago, but he STILL stands out as someone who was genuinely interested in his students -- I can't speak to his current teaching abilities / effectiveness, but I can say that he cares about the learning of his students.

This was a required class for me and Fenwick is a nice guy but it was so hard to learn anything as he just lectured for an hour and turned of the lights and showed transparencies so not so easy to stay awake at 8 in the morning. Also he doesn't require attendance but has pop quizzes frequently.

One of my favorite professors. I've learned a lot in this class and genuinely enjoy it, despite it being at eight in the morning. Super helpful and encourages students to think for themselves and consider how things interrelate. Also had him for AGRI 192, which was great. Bottom line: if you have a chance to take a class with him, do it!

Great guy. I recommend him highly. SC475 was a very good team-taught class (with Dick Tinsley) that raised a lot of interesting issues about political, economic, social, and agronomic issues of agricultural development in less developed countries.
