You may need to know a bit of math before taking this class but I found it very easy. Sometimes I couldn't follow him but luckily the textbook is good in explaining problems. Noll seems to grade very fairly but he does screw up a lot on the board which can be amusing.

Ok guy but horrible as a teacher. No point opportunities except for tests. His writing is aweful and he looses track of the problem that he is teaching.If you were bad at math to begin with, DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS.

A good algebra background is highly reccomended. He is not a very good professor. He makes a lot of mistakes and doesn't know what problem he's doing or where he is in the book half the time. He's really old and seemed to have lost the desire for teaching 50 years ago.

Nice guy. Fair grader. Not a great teacher-- made a ton of mistakes EVERY time. Should have a good algebra/math background if you don't want to be lost!

really nice guy but don't take if you don't already have a good understanding of algebra. he is willing to help but for me i was just past the point of understanding. so if you're already good at math- take for easy A..otherwise don't...

he is the most boring professor. He makes you fall asleep and puts things on tests that aren't even in the class. He doesn't teach very well, so have a good algerbra foundation-you need it to do well

Prof. Noll was awesome. He explained everything very well. Didn't mind re-explaining if didn't get it. You could tell that he really wanted you to understand the topic. He was the best professor I've had so far. Highly recommend him!

He was old, and it shows - I think he has Alzeitherms disease. Spent more time fiddling around trying to find his place in the book then we did going over problems. But he is a nice man. The class is not hard, 4 tests. Lets you use notecard for tests.
