Stott was a good teacher and good guy, as long as you did the work and showed up he would give you a C or B, and he was a great department chair who rather see you graduate then get bogged down by policy. Saddly Professor Stott is gone and will be missed

the dumbest professor at ycp. Doesn't see reality outside of the computer. One time I saw one of his essays and it appeared to be on a 3rd grade level. I think he ought to study rhetoric to learn how to clearly speak. Then maybe he can teach.

Very smart and you will learn a lot if you do the work. Never returns email but will help you if you catch him in the office. Recommend that you work on assignments in the lab across from his office while he's there so you can bug him with questions.

Have heard way too many horror stories from former students. He gives lots of busy work via VLABS. Tests are long and difficult; lots of material & no clue what exactly we will be tested on.
