Great Class, already signed up for another class with Dr. Strauss. He's a great professor, knows a lot. Ask him for interesting stories, he has many. Class is not a blow off class but for those interested in economics and able to keep up it's definitely worth taking

Professor Strauss is very smart, and the class was interesting as he tied what was going on in the real world with the textbook, which was lacking in good examples. I think it was a great class.

Excellent class. Strauss talked about international crises, and real world events, not just about abstract theory. He's very knowledgeable about international events and told great stories about his work in Ukraine and Egypt.

Goes over things quick. attendance isn't part of your grade but you must be there and take notes if you want to pass the course. Make sure you do the study guide a few days before the test and know it forwards and backwards. His jokes are hilarious but may come off as rude to some. Take it if you are god in econ and want to work hard for your grade

Easily the worst teacher I have ever hard. He is a complete jerk and thinks he is funny. The class consists of him saying "Does that make any sense? Good." without giving time for students to say no, b/c the way he explains everything is awful. On tests he takes away way to many points where they shouldn't be taken away. Overall worst teacher ever.

Professor Strauss was a very knowledgeable guy and super smart but a complete jerk. The class was pretty easy. He talked to all of his students like they were idiots and had very low expectations. He's incredibly rude in office hours.

Easily the most qualified Economics professor in the whole university. Extremely funny, too. Smart people enjoyed his class. The rest likely struggled. Not much else to say.

He is a horrible teacher and is very rude. He thinks he is funny, but is actually offensive to some people. Homework was easy and light. Tests were hard. He gives a review sheet for the tests. He is just not helpful and comes off lazy.

I really liked his class. Out of class work was light and I learned A LOT. Test questions come directly from review sheets and he tells the class what concepts he will put on tests while lecturing. I think he's hillarius. He's also very smart. I highly recommed taking him for any class he offers.
