There are three tests and thats it. He does however give you the notes and a study guide so dont buy the book if you wanna save money. Also if you are taking SOC as a pre requisites take him ass he does is ramble and doesnt pay attention to what your doing so use it as a study hall. I passed with only looking at the reviews.

Watson is very energetic but his lectures are so boring but he's very nice. Do the bare minimum and you'll at least get a C. His tests always include a short essay over topics he provides and at first he'll give you a random test because there's different essay versions but later he'll let you pick your own topic. Does give chances for bonus points

He is a very sweet person but a horrible prof. He rambles on about nothing it seems so it makes it hard to figure out what's important in his lectures. The course work itself is easy and he is very understanding when grading. Be prepared to feel like you are wasting time in class. If you don't teach yourself, you won't pass.

Dr. Watson does tend to ramble and it might seem hard to know what to write, but he gives you outlined notes and packets to help you. You do have to teach your self some stuff, but mostly out of the book reading. I love how excited he is about his job and talk to him and he'll help you pass!! Took a trip to the Arbor which was pretty cool!

Did not learn much from the class at all. Basically had to teach myself because he rambles on during the lectures, so I never knew what to specifically study. There is so much material to learn for one test which he does not prepare you for. His lectures are boring and do not make sense. His class made me change my major...

He seems like a very nice guy but he rambles wayyyyy to much and too often. The first 30 minutes of class he spends talking about his personal life. I didn't learn all that much because it was hard to take notes beecause I couldn't decipher his lecture from his digressions.

Nice guy, he means well, but his class was really hard! Lectures can be confusing. Huge project that requires you to go off campus and takes a lot of time and effort. Unless you have a lot of free time, I wouldn't take him again.

Dr. Watson is great. He provides outlines for all the exams and welcomes any questions. Also, he gives a lot of extra credit. Seems to be a genuinely nice person. The wording on the exams can be strange sometimes though, so make sure you know your stuff.

Super nice guy, but is sometimes a bit monotonous. Taking notes in this class is hard to do because he gets off topic pretty easily. The tests were a lot of common sense type stuff, nothing too hard. Overall, I'd recommend him.

One of my favorite professors of all time. After graduation he wrote my recommendation for grad school and has always been willing to help in anyways. His classes were informative and he genuinly loves his job. He's great.

Very easy. I took him during Summer II. He didn't tend to stay on topic (you'll hear alot about him volunteering for some disater thing). Like someone else mentions he gives hella extra points. Points for being on time. Points for being late. Points for taking a quiz. Points for sipping water. He's pretty cool though...
