Jackie was awesome, i took her class thinking it was going to be any old RLST class but it was awesome. lectures were a must or you will fail, most of her tests were from her lectures. If you're on your phone or dont pay attention she won't like you, so make sure you actually pay attention and add to discussion! she really is awesome!

She wasn't a good prof at all. Assigned decent marks during the year when you had time to discuss why you were getting those marks BUT assigns three things due before Christmas break and marks so low, then doesn't let you know why your grade went from a high 80 to the 70's. She is also pretty rude. Wouldn't take her class again! Poor.

This was an awful class to take with Jackie. I was interested in the film aspect of religious studies however, we did not discuss any aspect of the films as she expected everyone had enough background. She was also poor with this technology. I will never take this prof again

Great prof. I thoroughly enjoyed her class. She was equally critical of ALL religions and the people who weren't too fond of her were the obviously Christian kids who had no problem with her harping on other religions but seemed to have a huge problem when she criticized theirs. If you can't handle criticism of your religion, maybe stay away.

Very opinionated, but encourages questions and discussions. Looked at a variety of Jesus scholars instead of simply one view. Difficult class to teach but Jackie does a great job. Pay attention and you will do great.

She Was Awful! She could never answer a question clearly when you asked it, her classes were boring and she tended to ramble. Also, her tests had nothing we desused in class on them. Some of the questions that were on it I had never seen or heard of before. She is also VERY biest and puts down christianity a lot. I wouldn't recomend her...

I was appalled at how blatant her bias was towards men. She outright called men ignorant in her class. This class left a poor taste in my mouth.

This class was aweful. She jumps around too much. She also makes it clear that she does not like teaching and she even said it in class once. She is very biased and it felt like she was trying to convert me the whole time. She has hard tests also. This class was a waste of time

Her class was interesting and her class was also fairly easy. However, Jackie does not teach from an unbiased perspective so beware. This is a more liberal class, some prominent subjects were feminism and inequality so if you're wanting an unbiased perspective on religion do not take it from her.
