Terrible teacher. She's so rude and literally thinks you don't have a life outside of her class. She doesn't help you at all and gives like one tiny extra credit assignment. I need a whole 100 pts. extra credit to pass her class.

She is so amazing and nice. If you have always struggled with math like myself you will definitely understand and PASS this class. She drops many homework/quizzes (the lowest) which is amazing. She also lets you use a cheat sheet for ALL the tests. you should not fail this class ever...

I am currently taking this class online, you will need the book because you are literally teaching yourself. She does not post any PowerPoints to help. When I need help she doesn't reply right away. She might be better in class I wouldn't know but I recommend do not take this online.

Comment:

Math is hard or at least time consuming, everyone knows that. But it's important to separate the subject and teacher, she's super sweet and caring. She repeats herself a lot but her lectures really help you understand. A lot of the course relies on a computer software and she offers a whole say of class dedicated to studying for an upcoming test.

I had her for Precalc Algebra MAT171 . Overall, she gave us tons of HW thats what I found the most difficult is keeping up with the HW . She also counts the final for 2 test grades replaces 4 assignments (HW grades/ labs) so that was cool of her. Her labs could work with groups and some take home & tests just study the test guides she gives you.

Mrs. M is an amazing teacher. If you go to class, you will learn easy ways to do the problems & actually learn. Her tests are easy compared to mystatlab. Labs suck but she'll give you more credit if you show you tried. Homework is done online. There is one project that is from the labs, but it's easy. I am horrible at math, but Mrs. M made it easy!

I thought online statistics was going to be difficult, but Ms. MacLaughlin made the class manageable and easy to understand with the online help she provides you (Calculator Help). Tests can be a bit tricky, but if you can do the HW and quizzes, they shouldn't be too bad. Overall, a great experience.

I loved this professor! She's very nice and caring! BUT, I had to drop the class because I wasn't understanding the material (mainly b/c I haven't been in school for so long). But her side stories didn't help either, just confused me more. She'll talk about the material then stop to wave at & talk about someone outside of the classroom. Confusing..

Great instructor. Class structure is easy to follow. Lectures are interesting and informative. She gives a review packet before each test and the class period before test is review. She is fair and will answer questions. You don't need to purchase the book, but all homework is done online through MyMathLab. I would recommend this instructor!!

Ms. MacLaughlin sets up a fantastic online course. Tests are on-campus (or proctored), but that's not unreasonable. She grades quickly, provides feedback, and is very encouraging throughout. She's lovely. Generous with extra credit opportunities as well!

She's a good teacher. She does sort of teach to us like we're 2nd graders who have no background in math, but a lot of the CPCC student body is poorly educated and she understands that. I took Statistics with her, and it was extremely easy. I never studied and I got above a 95 on all the tests.

BEST MATH TEACHER I've had at CP by far. Explains everything very clearly and easily and always happy to help you. I would recommend everyone to take her courses.
