His lectures are fun and informational. He will not put anything on the exam that was not talked about in class. The class is 80% exams, but the exams are not bad because he provides a list of terms to review. The other 20% was class discussion. He was able to help interrupt the readings with students so they could be easily understood.

Jackson is an awesome prof. Highly recommend him. He is very clear on what he wants and even then if you don't understand just go and talk to him he will clear it up even more. I highly recommend taking his Canadian politics class. you will walk out of the classroom knowing more about Canada than you ever thought possible. Also awesome if you like statistical anaylsis and are a poli sci major great person to talk to. I honestly have never heard a bad comment about him. Would take him again in a heartbeat!

Ignore the low grades here. Jackson is a great teacher. Very humorous and very friendly. Want easy tests? They were all multiple choice. Plus he curves grades. No papers, reading wasn't necessary, just his taking notes was enough.
