You are not allowed to use laptops in this class which I think is ridiculous because if we have got this far in our education I believe we should be able to decide how to take notes for ourself. She would embarrass students for leaving class early. She was not an approachable prof and not a nice person.

Very nice but stern. Make sure you attend all classes or you WILL be behind. Don't be late on any assignments or she will take a huge disliking to you, and will not give any slack. Very helpful if you have questions.

Wonderful person. Really encouraging, outgoing and sweet. Cares a lot about her students, even outside the classroom. She's strict on grammar and spelling but if you're a hard worker this course will be an asset to you. One of the best professors at Brock!

Although she comes off as super strict and intimidating, she's really sweet once you get to know her. Very strict about grammar and spelling though so watch out for that. Very thorough and always prepared. Shes always happy to help her students and answer questions. I would definitely take a class with her again!

The first day I thought she was going to be a real meanie. Once classes got underway she was great. Not the most enthusiastic, but really clear and you'll get a good mark as long as you participate and follow instructions closely. Be prepared for presentations. Sweet lady, and probably a lot smarter than we see in 1P classes.

Nice lady. boring classes. she's not into teaching. hard exams; multiple questions with a paragraph length questions. Don't expect deep thinker, provocative, university style teacher. Expect more of a mellow, lecturer, and more of high school style teacher!

This class was an absolute nightmare with this 'facilitator'. She’s unorganized, not helpful, and not very knowledgeable about the course and an unfair grader. (Even though it’s done by TA's). I urge you to stay away from this course at all costs and take it with a qualified instructor.
