Comment:

Very unapproachable and intimidating. He will not help you and demeans you for not knowing. He reads from the slides in such a heavy accent it is nearly impossible to understand him. He does not know how to use technology. The only way to learn this course with him teaching is to read from the textbook. Please, avoid him at all costs!!

Comment:

Very unfair and sneaky professor. All his lectures consist of him reading the slides with broken english. When attendance is low in class he will make a pop quiz. He cut the class lectures 2 weeks in advance without a notice, gave no review on blackboard and was very rude and unapproachable. Class average was 55%. Avoid this man at all costs .

Lectures are actually very informative, he's very by the book and you shouldn't really expect anything not in the book on the exams. He doesn't come off as extremely approachable though and he does tend to just read from the publisher's slides. Definitely not as terrible as people are suggesting on here.

All around stellar prof. I was hesitant to take him based on other classes, but he's revamped his teaching style over the last 2 years and is more helpful / easy than in the past. Its very case based as opposed to exam based, so you have time to research the area and write up a report instead of blatant memorization of lists.

Best prof at Odette! Unlike most other profs, his testing format is to submit a case... so there's nothing to memorize. Word of caution - show up to class. You will learn more and get on his good side, which never hurts.

Comment:

Sometimes he had a slight superiority complex, other times he was modest. Overall he's a nice guy if you actually show up to class. I had a negative perception of him before I had him but he turned out pretty well. My only real problem was the big case, which I (and a lot of others) found difficult. Barring that, he's good.

Good professor, helps students anyway he can. You can tell he really cares about the students who make an effort - the ones who dislike him are the ones who don't come to class and still expect to do well... NEWS FLASH - for most, life doesn't work that way. Stop complaining, man up and work hard, you'll get a grade to reflect your effort.

This professor is an asset to this business school. He makes this complex course into very interesting one. I was initially hesitant in taking this course as it was not essential for me but I not only enjoyed his classes but also would like to recommend to others to take his course.

Frequently late for classes. Never once was prepared and was unable to correctly teach a single class. He is rude and ignores questions or emails. If that isn't enough, his textbook material has spelling and grammatical errors and is just outright erroneous. Beware if you choose this professor.

I have had a few sub-par profs here at Odette, but this one takes the cake. He thinks that students should pay him homage, and treats us like dirt under a wagon wheel. I thought I'd like auditing, but after having him, have decided to choose more stimulating pursuits in management science where I can employ my quant skills.

I found this professor does not return emails. My final is 2 days away and I sent him questions over a week ago, and have heard nothing. Also, his book is useless, no index, a vague glossary, and I stopped counting at 110 obvious errors in grammar. Both texts are focused on American standards, very little on CICA.

This prof is a gem of a person. I wanted to be CA and his course is very useful. I also have plan to do CISA where this course is most important. He helps us in career development and guide our future career strategies in class and off the hours. He helps all and try not to fail any one. I appreciate his high scholarly achievements.
