Although a funny guy he is very unclear in what he wants. Do not miss a class because he WILL mark you down for it. If he likes you the it is an easy grade. Dr. Orejan is a great teacher. Although a major portion of your grade will rely on participation, that is true of the real world as well. Participating and communicating well is just as important as doing the work. He is extremely helpful outside of the classroom and a great guy. Hilarious teacher - always keeps things interesting...

My favorite teacher at Elon. He is the best and he does not drop a bomb on you about participation. It is in the syllabus and he makes it so if you do not do well on the tests you can still get a good grade if you participate. Very nice and really cares about his students. He is one of the best teachers at this school.
