James Anderson is an excellent professor and really wants his students full participation in his class to ensure a good grade. He gives a lot of extra credit, an example being the one to present a presentation first in class. If all you do is show up to class and do the assignments, you should get an A.

This class was great! He explains everything, his discussion board time is not overly demanding and is extremely helpful when it comes to writing papers. His class has great flow to it. My grade was fantastic. Overall I highly suggest this teacher and class! He offers a Revision Workshop before a paper is due and it is awesome.

I took his class online and really enjoyed it. He gave a bit of work, but it wasn't too much. He was a very fair grader, and made helpful comments on all essays we wrote. I am hoping to take English 112 with him next time he offers it online.

Class was easy and pretty organized. Mixed mode course had portion online and in-class. In-class we generally did presentations so attendance was mandatory. Learned quite a bit in the course. Professor Anderson was great, little "monotone" but you learn a lot!

Ya he's a boring teacher - bring a laptop to class and sit in the back and you're set (don't worry you're not missing any learning anyway). Turn in all assignments on blackboard, do a couple presentations and you've got an A. Wouldn't go out of my way to take him again but would fight it if I had too.

Can you spell b-o-r-i-n-g? This prof is a really nice guy, but he tends to drone and doesn't ever really make the material interesting. It's the easiest class in the world if you already know how to write a decent paper, or at least know how to correct mistakes, but... YAWN.

I really like this professor. I am currently taking him for his online writing course and he is organized, gives detailed instructions on how to write the paper, grades fairly and does not deduct points for piddly crap. He also gives you a chance to rewrite your paper if you do bad, how cool is that? He responds to all my E-mails and seems to care.

Class is easy but VERY BORING. Everything you learn is based on common sense. Grades are based on homework and in class presentations. Prof. Anderson is nice and means well but teaches at what seems to be more of a middle school level then a college level. With what we do in class it could be over in half the time but he drags everything out.

Great teacher! easy class would recomend to everyone. You are graded on papers, that you discuss in class for a least 2 weeks, makes the class very easy.
