LOVE Jim! He is very knowledgeable in Special Education and definitely enjoys being a professor. I have taken him for 3 classes so far, and would highly recommend everyone to take a class from him. My favorite professor at UMaine!

I had Jim for at least 6 courses. I think I have taken ever course he teaches at the University at some point. He was also my advisor through 3 degrees. He is helpful, informative, a wealth of knowledge. I continue to use him as a resource when I have a tough question. Highly recommend him! One of the BEST at UMaine! He truly cares!

Great great professor! Take this class with him if you can, you'll love it. He is extremely nice and allows you to turn most assignments back in for a better grade. Only three quizzes, no exams. Quizzes not that hard. Great stories, laughs at himself, and really knows his stuff.
