Judge Bachman is a great teacher who really wants all of his students to succeed. He says that class attendance is crucial to getting a good grade, however I didn't attend the class for the last month of class and still got an A. He gives you study quizzes and prior semester exams and as long as you do those and know that stuff,you will be okay.

The best prof. i have had at BGSU so far, and I am a sophomore. I never understood what professors can help you with to further your career goals, until i met judge bachman. His class will not be easy if you don't put the time into study, but if you do he gives you all the resources you will need to ace the exams. final is not cumulative.

Comment:

Had him for serial homicide a few summers ago. Very easy class if you do the reading and go to class. Gives you questions to answer for ch. readings and the same questions are one of the nightly quizzes. Watched at least one video a night and had a quiz over it. At least two or three quizzes a night, but are really easy. Fun class, nice professor.

Best teacher I've had in college yet. Expects a lot from his students but gives you everything you need to ace his exams. Pay attention and follow directions in class. Love the prosecutor who teaches but she goes very fast so learn to write quick or summarize for notes. Every1 I know who wasn't a CJ major failed; would ONLY recommend to CJ majors.

I am in this class right now and it is not that difficult. The class is based on only 4 exams throughout the whole semester. Each exam is 50 points, so 200 total. no test curving. all multiple choice. A prosecuter teaches the class with him. I went to class everyday in the beginning taking useless notes, i read the book, and did the flip cards. I got a C on the first test. I stopped going to class after the first test (no joke...) and just read the study guides 2 days before the test and now get straight As. MEMORIZE THE STUDY GUIDES AND YOU WILL GET AT LEAST A B!!!!!!!!!!
