One of the worst profs I've ever had. Pauses every 2 seconds. Rants on the same thing for 3 classes without actually explaining it. Biased towards student from Management faculty. Unfair assignments markings. And grades on the "participation" in class. I've learnt NOTHING, absolutely NOTHING from this course so far.

He is, by far, the worst professor I have come across at UW to date. He is the sole reason I dubbed my choice of this course as "THE worst mistake of my life". He frequently loses his train of thought, purposely tries to be vague when confronted with questions he does not know the answer to, and his teaching style is incredibly haphazard.

This is the worst teacher I have ever had in my entire life under and circumstance. There are balls of lint which can educate me greater than this old senile man. Attending his class was a complete waste of my time. He can not keep his train of though for more than 15 seconds, and his writing is worse than your standard 3 year old. Useless

difficult final. he tries to go slow in class for the sake of the students with no background in his material, which can make the classes tedious at times, but anyone who was taught by JHB is very lucky because he is one of the nicest profs you will encounter at UW.
