Prof. Braun goes above and beyond to ensure you have everything you need to do well. All quiz and exam questions come directly from the lecture notes and reading guidelines he supplies. Quizzes, exams, and the final are open notes/open book. He allows practice essay quizzes and gives great feedback. If you do the work each week, you will do well.

Paying attention in class isn't hard and is necessary. Yeah, it's a challenging class, but I would take it again if I could. If you actually study for the tests, you'll do amazing. 2 discussion boards that are really fun to do and don't take much time. DONT PUT OFF TAKING NOTES FROM THE TEXTBOOKS it's so important for the tests. Well put together

Comment:

I thoroughly enjoyed Professor Brauns Developmental Pyschology class. The material was all really interesting and his online lectures were full of information. Two short ten question quizzes a week and occasionally an essay quiz. Easy A and you learn so much! Braun is also hilarious and a very nice man! Definitely recommend!!!

literally a terrible professor he gives you only a minute to answer questions. His lectures are awful and he is so quiz centered and test centered that there is no consideration for the student. Obviously one of those self absorbed teachers who dgaf. If you are okay with 80 plus assignments for a semester than take him, but you will regret it.

Took Professor Braun for online developmental psychology. Pretty easy there are lecture quizzes (videos of him lecturing) and textbook quizzes. The textbook quizzes are pretty annoying cause it is A LOT of reading but it's still easy.

Took online. I really enjoyed the lecture portion. Learned a lot. He is not a fair grader, if you don't read the chapter's you will not pass, takes a long time to reply to emails. Once through in my face that he had 400 students, like my grades didn't matter. Not understanding. Essay quizzes periodically, make sure you to exact word count.

Not hard to get an A in this class. He is somewhat strict on the grading of papers and you have to do them his way. Have to buy the textbook because half of the test questions are from it other are from the lecture notes. Pretty funny entertaining lectures.

Took this class online, probably would have been better in person. Quizzes and tests were focused more on statistics and random facts from the textbook rather than concepts. Had problems with grades at the beginning, but he eventually fixed it.

Great professor. Being present in class is the key to passing. He provides great lecture notes and is more than will to explain things as many times as needed for the class to understand. The only downside to this class was there were not many graded assignments.

He was my professor for psychology. He meddles cultural marxist theory. Not all cultures deserve respect. At all. And promiscuity is NOT a positive thing. I can only imagine how many youths this schlomo has brainwashed.

Comment:

Professor Braun is fantastic. His lecture videos are really good and he even gives you fill in the blank notes to go along with them which you can use on quizzes and tests. Since I took it in the summer, it was condensed so there were a few weeks when I had 4 quizzes and a discussion to do, but it was all easy. I definitely recommend him!

VERY GOOD PROFESSOR! I 100% recommend him. He has humor and relates the course material to YOUR PERSONAL LIFE. BTW he is a real GATORS FAN and if you need to reschedule an exam BRING CHOCOLATE! But in all seriousness take him, if you need extra help especially on an essay he will assist you.

All I can say is BEST TEACHER EVER! I would take this professor three million times if I could. Had him for an 8 am class and not once did I want to fall asleep. He is hilarious, caring, and definitely knows what he's doing. Especially because of his background (he's also a therapist). Amazing teacher.

Comment:

Has fill-in-the-blank lecture notes and reading guides for the book so you know exactly what to study. Keep notes as you listen to lecture and read so that you don't fall behind. The biggest challenge for most was the timed essays but I did just fine. It says that you can't write it in MS Word first but it worked for me. Highly recommend!

I was .8 points away from a B and he still gave me a C. Teacher is unorganized, has incorrect grading on tests and does not correct it which is unfair. The material itself is interesting and fun to learn. Expect to not do well unless you memorize everything and even then you might not do well because he doesn't deem credit where necessary.

He's not organized, he would forget to put things on canvas then when it would be brought to his attention not give the time assigned to do it. Also not easy to reach outside of class. He moves at a fast pase in class and you learn a lot of information quickly.

This is not an easy class. It takes a lot of time and work so if you're looking for a class to just breeze through I don't recommend. However if you're looking to actually learn something, Professor Braun is excellent. I loved his online video lectures and access to open book/open note tests. 2 quizes every week of required reading and lecture note

Course is structured and simple to follow. Everything is open book/note- including finals. He gives a note template for each module which is really useful. Good feedback on all of the writing assignments as well (200-250 words). Do the assignments and you will pass. Great online course.

This class was amazing. Prof Braun knows what he's talking about and is very clear cut in what he wants regarding his essays. If you watch his lectures, and fill in the blanks on the lecture papers, you'll pass the quizzes every week, same with the chapter readings. He has a sense of humor and wants everyone to pass.
