Professor Copi truly KNOWS his material. He uses the powerpoint presentation and covers a lot of material very quickly, but his tests are very fair. The study guide that he hands out contains everything you need to study for the exams and he allows you to retake your worst exam after the final if you wish.

He does use the pp to teach and he flys through the slides, my advice, go to the computer lab and get the disk that he uses, copy all the chapters onto a usb drive so you can take them home. go through the ch. and take notes BEFORE class then when you are in class you wont be stressed to get all the notes, you can just pay attention to him

He's such a nice guy, he's just really boring. Attending class wasn't really necessisary to pass the class, he just does a powerpoint that goes along with the text. Make sure you're there the week before the test to pick up the study guide, and you'll be fine!

I took this course a couple years ago and I remember the first day of class ...he told us that 85% of my class wouldnt cut his class. I can't believe that any professor would say such a thing to discourage his students in succeeding.

the test's are ridiculous and have nothing to do with the material we learn from powerpoint....they are all take home and you can't ask him questions about them because he doesn't know the answers or want to help. He needs to retire now.

Very nice man. May seem intimidating at first, but it is all an act, he's a sweetheart. Any questions you have will be answered completely. Tests, and grading scale are very fair. Lets you retake your worst test after the final. You will learn a lot. Take him.
